Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the included visit to the Three Pyramids of Giza: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple of Khafre (entrance to the interior of a pyramid is not included).

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day of sightseeing in Alexandria with lunch. In the morning, departure for Alexandria, the legendary city on the shores of the Mediterranean. A visit to the city’s most important sites: Pompey’s Pillar, the most significant remnant of the Serapeum, the most beautiful temple in Alexandria; the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa; and a stroll along its waterfront, passing through the old fishermen’s quarter. A visit to the Citadel of Qaitbay, built at the end of the 15th century on the former site of the Lighthouse of Alexandria. A visit to the New Library of Alexandria, a unique building with beautiful and pure modern forms, rebuilt under the auspices of UNESCO. Entrance included, as well as a visit to the small adjoining museum. In the afternoon, a visit to the immense Al-Muntazah Park, covering 46 hectares and filled with gardens, rotundas, pine groves, and pavilions, and to its Palace, the former summer residence of King Farouk. Free time in the city and return to Cairo by highway.

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day, or you can fly directly to Luxor in the morning. Optional full-day tour of Cairo: the Egyptian Museum of Pharaonic Art, the Citadel of Saladin with its Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali, the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, and the Coptic Quarter. In the afternoon, transfer to Cairo International Airport for a domestic flight to Luxor. Arrival and transfer to the ship. Dinner and overnight on board.

(Full Board) A visit to the East Bank of Luxor; to the Temples of Luxor and Karnak. A visit to the West Bank of Luxor; to the Theban Necropolis; to the Valley of the Kings, to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut known as Deir el-Bahari, and to the Colossi of Memnon. At the scheduled time, we will set sail for Esna. We will pass through the Esna Lock and continue sailing towards Edfu. Overnight on board.

(Full Board) Arrival in Edfu and a visit to the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus. Sailing to Kom Ombo. Arrival in Kom Ombo and a visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo, the only temple dedicated to two deities: the crocodile-headed god Sobek and the falcon-headed god Haroeris. Sailing to Aswan. Overnight on board.

(Full Board) In the morning, an optional excursion to the famous Temples of Abu Simbel is available. A felucca ride on the Nile River (traditional Egyptian sailboats) will be offered, allowing you to admire a panoramic view of the Aga Khan Mausoleum, Elephantine Island, and the Botanical Garden. Following this, a visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Philae Temple will take place. Overnight on board. The optional excursion to the Temples of Abu Simbel can be taken either today or the following day, depending on the schedule of the domestic flight ASW – CAI the next day.
